Date: 2008-12-16 03:00 am (UTC)Those are the gloves that I just bought, and I'm not even kidding, they're THE BEST gloves I've ever owned.
It's currently -29c with a wind chill dipping below -40 here. I was just out shoveling my walk in my regular winter gloves, but my fingers froze up before I finished the steps. I went back in, warmed up and put Tino's winter hunting mitts over top of my gloves. It was much warmer, but by the end of the less than 10 minutes it took me to do the sidewalk my fingers were numb.
After I'd warmed up I had to take the dog for a quick walk. I decided to put my Heritage gloves to the test and wore them out. My hands were practically sweating they were so warm! I walked the dog for 45 minutes and my hands felt as toasty as if I was in the house! Even the hand holding the leash wasn't the least bit cold. These things are so warm you can't even start wearing them until -15, because they're just too warm!
So worth every penny.
