I wasn't around much when this happened, and all I can really remember is posts made in Equestrian, or other friends LJ's asking for prayers/support. I can't imagine what it would be like. You have to be one strong hell of a woman to have gone through this, and obviously, through what I've read, you're one of the few who actually cared about their horse and would do ANYTHING for him. What an amazing, rare trait to have (at least, people I know are few and far between to have taken the steps you have and have held this level of hope). I'm glad that you are able to share this experience with us, and that I finally have been given the chance to read it. I've been close to tears reading this. What an amazing horse Ally was. And what an amazing owner and friend you were to him.
