Good girls! And I love the horse right before the last fence--you can see her pondering the distance and then being all, "Don't worry, I got it under control!"
Denali is such a superstar and REALLY love and takes care of Alison. Course, I've also taught her well (it was a great compliment from Trudy!) and Trudy's lessons every 2 months help push her up that notch ... but with security and safety.
was an awesome lesson to ride, knowing I'm personally responsible for both of them, training wise.
(It's also hilarious how small 3'3" really is--when someone else is the one jumping it! I look at the video and I go, "Oh, that's a nice friendly jump," but that, uh, is not what I think while cantering down to the fence myself. How cool for the kiddo to have the opportunity to do this stuff and ride such a nice horse at her age!)
