hey, can i ask you something? i was looking through some of your old posts, and reading about Ally, and about what happened to him...my question is, what is Edema? I'm just curious because while some of Ally's symptoms sounded similar to what happened to my mare, I know not all of them are the same, but I was curious nonetheless...if you don't feel like answering this due to past memories or something, thats ok. thanks! :)

Alas, most of Ally's symptoms are the signs of most of the major equine disease and ailments. That's the problem we had in diagnosing him, since the signs were so common for many other problems.
and Edema is the swelling of tissue and filling of fluid into that area.
